Griffin Weber

About
Originally from South Florida, Griffin Weber is a professional trumpet player and teacher
based in Tampa, Florida.
​
​​Griffin currently serves as Principal Trumpet in the Lakeland Symphony and Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra. He has appeared with The Orlando Philharmonic and Brevard Symphony and regularly performs with The Florida Orchestra.
​
In 2020, Griffin joined the faculty at University of Tampa as Adjunct Professor of Trumpet and teaches a private lessons studio comprised of
students of all ages.​
​
Griffin holds degrees from Stetson University and The Hartt School, where he studied with trumpet legends Tom Macklin and Phil Snedecor.
Other interests include playing with his cats, Cheeseburger and Calamity Ganon, and being
a devout Florida Panthers hockey fan.
