Performing Artist and Music Educator

About
Originally from South Florida, Griffin Weber is a performing artist and music educator
based in Durham, North Carolina.​
​
​​Having served as Principal Trumpet in Lakeland Symphony Orchestra and Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra, Griffin possesses a wealth of musical experience. He has also performed with top professional ensembles, including the Sarasota Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra,
and The Florida Orchestra.

As a dedicated music educator, Griffin has served on music faculty at The University of Tampa and Stetson University. He is an enthusiastic guest clinician and private lessons teacher.

Griffin holds degrees from Stetson University and The Hartt School, where he studied with trumpet legends Tom Macklin and Phil Snedecor.
Other interests include playing with his cats, Cheeseburger and Calamity Ganon, and being
a devout Florida Panthers hockey fan.
