About
Originally from South Florida, Griffin Weber is a performing artist and music educator based in Tampa, Florida.
​
​​Griffin currently serves as Principal Trumpet in Lakeland Symphony Orchestra and Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra. He also performs regularly with ensembles such as Sarasota Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and The Florida Orchestra.
​
In 2020, Griffin joined the faculty at University of Tampa as Adjunct Professor of Trumpet and teaches privately in the Tampa area.
​
Griffin holds degrees from Stetson University and The Hartt School, where he studied with trumpet legends Tom Macklin and Phil Snedecor.
Other interests include playing with his cats, Cheeseburger and Calamity Ganon, and being
a devout Florida Panthers hockey fan.
